Hôtel Grands Boulevards in Paris

Hôtel Grands Boulevards, an eye-pleasing hotel, a unique addition to Experimental Group's collection, is truly one of a kind. The Parisian hotelier company has been developing and visualising avant-garde structures for some time.

The ensemble was founded by childhood friends Olivier Bon, Pierre-Charles Caro and Romée De Goriainoff. The idea of having their own hotel only grew overtime after opening the Experimental Cocktail Club in 2007 on a small side street in Paris. They wanted to revive Paris's history as the cocktail scene in New York and London was expanding. And finally, in 2010, Xavier Padovani became the fourth partner in the Experimental Group. While cocktail bars are still very important to them, they now have a distinctive list of hotels, speakeasies, wine bars, and restaurants in different destinations such as Paris, London, Ibiza, New York, and more.

However, each new project that the Experimental Group develops retains their core competencies and insights. Whilst the hotel chain's design is undeniably captivating, they concentrate on every detail to make sure it is flawless and worthy.

A unique interior by Dorothée Meilichzon

Despite being located on a bustling thoroughfare, the Hôtel Grands Boulevards is nothing but calm and serene. The white building perfectly reflects contemporary Parisian architecture. While the hue is balanced by the plants, the shape, pattern, and visual weight properly accentuate the aesthetics of the design. The building speaks for itself. You can see the elegance and sense the enthusiasm of the amazing architects. As soon as you enter, the person at the front desk will welcome you and take care of you. And if the room isn’t ready,  you can wait in their picturesque restaurant while savouring a delicious cup of coffee.

The restaurant

In terms of aesthetics, balance is the key. And the interior designers appear to be very phenomenal at it. The inside has been meticulously adorned with a variety of plants so that you can feel the influence of nature even in the digital age. The minutiae demonstrate how they did not confine themselves to a particular theme. The terracotta, plants, trellises, greenhouse, magnificent shell accents, statues, fences, and floor tiles all evoke the spirit of the 70s. The combination of various perspectives makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Beyond the structure, the personnel appear to be extraordinarily competent and offer an amazing service.

The rooms

The discrepancies can also be seen in the rooms. The layout is exquisite, just like the rest of it. They have paid a lot of attention to the shapes of mundane things to make them peculiar. Everywhere you look, you'll notice basic shapes, like the shape of the headrest and the round lights. The white walls, linen draperies, and bronze sculptures are a brilliant demonstration of how history and modernity can coexist. Some rooms also have access to balconies with views of the hotel's enclosure, where everything blends together to create a stunning botanical aesthetic.

The Hôtel Grands Boulevards is a great destination for interior design enthusiasts. Every time you enter, you'll find something worth exploring. It's a very pleasant experience and gives you an insight into the balance of aesthetics. It's kind of heaven for aesthetes. Once in a while, one can visit there to experience the art and elegance.
