Azalaï Beach Cottage: Wake Up to the Soothing Sound of Waves in Oualidia

As you journey along the coast and reach the picturesque town of Oualidia, the scenery transforms into something distinct from the typical sights of Morocco. Here, visitors can indulge in mouth-watering oysters and freshly caught fish, available all year round. The town is also home to a breathtaking lagoon and a pristine coastal sand that is unmatched in beauty.

When Moroccan Charm Meets British Tranquility

Nestled in front of the crashing waves, Azalaï Beach Cottage invites guests to take a moment and revel in the beauty of their surroundings. Despite its Moroccan location, Azalaï Beach Cottage brings to mind British beach cottages, with its tranquil and spacious atmosphere, unique and authentic decor, and panoramic views. The house has been entirely decorated by the artist, designer, and scenographer Régis Delène Bartholdi. With a range of rooms available, each designed to cater to the needs of different guests, Azalaï Beach Cottage offers a truly unique experience. Wake up to the sound of the waves and enjoy a stunning view of the ocean, while taking in the vast greenery of the surrounding landscape.

Behind the Azalaï group

The founder of the Azalaï group, Bouchaib Harmouzi, is a native of Morocco who spent his childhood in France. After studying and starting a construction business in France, he returned to his homeland twelve years ago, where he has undertaken a variety of projects, including real estate development, hotels, and even artisanal glass manufacturing through Kessy Verres. During his travels, he discovered the kilometres of beach in Sidi Beddouzza and bought a house there facing the ocean, six kilometers from the lighthouse on the road to Oualidia. The house was first used as a second home, but Mr. Harmouzi quickly decided to transform it into a guest house. The result is simply superb, with seven rooms and two bungalows resembling sophisticated fishermen's huts, made of stone and wood, facing the ocean.

Savouring Oualidia's Terroir: A Culinary Celebration Through Every Dish
